Getting young people interested in computing careers
www.technocamps.com : Technocamps is a Welsh European funded project aimed to help inspire young people to study computing or to consider it as a career. This is done through delivering workshops for schools on programming, cryptography and robotics (many more!).
Supporting Women in Technology
www.bcs.org/bcswomen : BCSWomen is a chapter of the BCS and provides online networking and support for women in computing. Their online forum provides lively conversations and debate as well as a supportive atmosphere to air problems.
www.womenintechnology.co.uk : Womenintechnology is a networking group for women in technology. It is a jobs board for organisations who want to target women computer scientists. The group offers events for women in technology and has a resource of information on how to get a job in computing.
